Sometimes I’m sad that you have sworn off Netflix, or I would totally recommend 1979’s “Roller Boogie.” Nick and I watched it tonight and the way the characters overcome class, racial, and fashion barriers is really inspiring. “Roller Boogie” is a triumph for Linda Blair, and it is a shame that the film is a singular effort from her co-star, Jim Bray. According to Wikipedia, “Roller Boogie” was pretty much the end of his life. I’ve learned that disco is not dead, it lives on the internet.
