Peanut Chews Create Pandemonium

Some coworkers graciously shared their Goldenburg’s Peanut Chews with me. I consider it an initiation to Philadelphia culture, on par with cheesesteaks, Tasty Kakes, and Herr’s potato chips. Despite being a little old fashioned, peanut chews are a Philadelphia staple, made here in the city since 1917. I can see why. Basically a chocolate peanut nougat, these guys are totally addictive. However, at 50 calories a pop I need to contain my enthusiasm. In the meantime, I’ll settle for their hilarious ads, they are calorie free: crazy peanut chews ads
